BAASE 2024

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Bay Area Axis Syllabus Exchange at the end of June. I loved being, teaching, and dancing together with you. I learn so much from watching the beauty in the way we move through space together. Our community showcase was a blast. Thanks for joining me in that playful way of being.

I believe we shall do this again next year, so look out for a save-the-date.

TRACES

This year I am helping to produce an event to take place in Benin, West Africa next January 2025 with Axis Syllabus. It is a rare opportunity for a creative cultural exchange between movers and musicians from both on and off the African continent. This program is an opportunity for all who are interested in deepening their rhythmic sensitivity and critical corporeal awareness while experiencing a deeper exposure to Yoruban culture in its place of origin.

For more information information about the program and how to apply go here: tracesusa.org

Until we meet again.
